Sales
- Business Development Manager – primarily responsible for leading the development of solution sales opportunities in new and existing accounts.
Engineering
PBM is expanding our engineering team. We are looking for senior-level engineering talent, preferably with consulting experience, in the following technology areas:
- Cisco Route/Switch Engineer – including the full range of Catalyst and Nexus switches, routers, and security appliances
- Cisco Unified Communications Engineer – including Communications Manager, Unity, Presence, and Telepresence
- Cisco Mobility/Wireless Engineer – conduct wireless site surveys and predictive analyses and deploy centrally managed wireless solutions
- Storage and Virtualization Engineer – with focus on NetApp and VMware design and implementation. Cisco UCS is a growing part of this practice
Our engineers plan, design and implement solutions for our clients based primarily on Cisco, Network Appliance, and VMware technologies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a consultant at a VAR or channel partner. Typical duties include:
- Serve as a pre-sales engineer for PBM’s technology practices
- Work with sales team to develop opportunities with new and existing clients
- Lead technical sessions with clients to discover requirements and develop solutions
- Prepare project proposals including Bill of Materials, Engineering Professional Services Estimate, and Statement of Work
- Present solutions to clients
- Serve as a “hands on” post-sales implementation engineer implementing and supporting Cisco networking projects
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies
- Maintain technical certifications as required
Certifications (CCIE, CCVP, etc.) are desirable, but hands on experience is required.
